The Place to Find Where to Stay
Chances are, if you're reading this, you don't need to find a place to stay on Cape Cod. Maybe, though, you're a part of a local business which caters to visitors. Perhaps you'd like to link from your site to one that contains the authoritative list of availabilities in the region, encouraging visitors to stay in your town, near your business.
Or, how many of you have friends and family coming to the Cape in the near future? Where will they be staying? Afraid they left finding a place to stay to the last minute? Don't they always?
Well, they need not fear--and you don't have to worry about putting them up for the week. The recently revamped and relaunched Cape Cod & Islands Current Vacancies site lists several thousand vacancies at any given moment, with hundreds a day or week out. Since the participating hosts update the site every day, you can be assured that the information is accurate.
The Cape Cod & Islands Current Vacancies site is by far the most comprehensive and feature rich site of its nature in the region. This site was made possible by the joint cooperation of c4.net, the region's chambers of commerce, and hundreds of members of the lodging industry throughout the region. While c4.net built and designed the site, it is the cooperation of the chambers, under the umbrella of the Visitor Information Network Service, that brought together the participating hosts.
What started out as a small project for the Orleans Chamber of Commerce blossomed into the most authoritative and up-to-date source for information about available accommodations on Cape Cod. In the end, the site owes everything to the participating hosts who use the site daily, keep their information updated, and take the time to request new features that will improve both the content and the usability of the site.
The Cape Cod & Islands Current Vacancies site is a community site, designed by and for the community. It simultaneously promotes and enables local business. c4.net is pleased to play a role in development and ongoing vitality of the site.
