Spam in the News
Spam, defined by Merriam-Webster as "unsolicited usually commercial e-mail sent to a large number of addresses", continues to be a growing problem for businesses and individuals everywhere. Spam email accounts for more than 9 out of every 10 email messages sent, according to Ironport, a spam filtering firm quoted in the article.
The Times article explains ways in which spam can trick spam filters, how spammers can evade being tracked down, and why some spammers spend their time sending spam in the first place. For more information, read The Times article.
