How do I configure spam filter settings?

This article assumes you are using the c4.net SmarterMail Web mail program.

SmarterMail has several anti-spam measures it uses to help keep your Inbox as free of spam as possible. That being said, there may be instances when you find unwanted mail in your Inbox or when you find valid mail in your Junk Email folder. The default setting for all spam setting options is "Move to Junk E-mail Folder". This FAQ will provide instructions on how to configure spam settings for your email account.

Configure spam filter settings

  1. Log into Web mail.
  2. Select Settings (the gear icon) from the menu on the left.
  3. Under My Settings, click on Filtering and under that option click on Spam Filtering.
  4. Select the "Override spam settings for this account" option.
  5. Select the Actions tab.
  6. Set each Action as desired.
  7. Click the Save button.
