How do I change my Email Account Password?

This FAQ will walk you through how to change your Email Account Password, for regular users and Domain Administrators.

Regular Users

  1. Log into Web mail by clicking this link, or using the "email login" option at the top of this page
  2. Select Settings (the gear icon) from the menu on the left.
  3. Under My Settings, select Account Settings.
  4. Enter the New Password.
  5. Enter the same information in Confirm Password.
  6. Click the Save button.

Domain Administrators

  1. Log into Web mail by clicking this link, or using the "email login" option at the top of this page
  2. Select Settings (the gear icon) from the menu on the left.
  3. Under Domain Settings, select Users.
  4. Select a User and click the Edit button.
  5. Provide and confirm the New Password.
  6. Click the Save button.

Updating Your Email Client

The instructions above describe how to change your email account password. If you use Web mail to check your email, you're done. If you use another email client, you may have to make additional changes.

Microsoft Outlook

To update your password in Microsoft Outlook:

  1. Launch Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Click the Send/Receive button. Outlook will prompt you for your credentials.
  3. Provide your new password.
  4. Check the “Save this password in your password list” option.
  5. Click the OK button.

Eudora

To update your password in Eudora:

  1. Launch Eudora mail program.
  2. Cancel out of any pop-up messages in Eudora.
  3. Select Special > Forget Password(s) from the menu items.
  4. Close out of Eudora.
  5. Relaunch Eudora mail program.
  6. Enter your new Password when Eudora prompts you to.
