New Home for AT&T Broadband Customers

A Microsoft backed Comcast bid determined the fate of AT&T Broadband customers. AT&T will sell off its AT&T Broadband unit for $72 billion dollars, a loss of a mere $38 billion dollars when compared to what it cost AT&T to purchase it in the first place. Microsoft backed both Comcast and Cox Communications in competing bids for the flailing AT&T Broadband unit to prevent the megalo-monster-media-corporation that is AOL Time Warner from gaining a stronger hold over Internet subscribers.
