LinkedIn Hacked

If you have an account on the popular career networking website LinkedIn, you should change your account password and change it on any other sites you use that same password on. LinkedIn is the recent target of hackers stealing information, and it's being reported that the 6.5 million LinkedIn passwords have been stolen by Russian hackers.

In the aftermath, it appears that many of the stolen passwords have been published online and also that LinkedIn users are being targeted by Email phishing scams. According to the BBC in an article published today on the matter, "LinkedIn users targeted in phishing scam after hack", people with stolen passwords on the website are being asked by Email to confirm some of their account information in phishing type Emails.
