Going, Going, Gone

A new worm, called Gone, spreads itself via e-mail. This is perhaps the most unsophisticated virus of this type in some time since it takes advantage of no security vulnerabilities and does not execute automatically. Users have to open/run the screen saver attachment to infect their system.

The subject line usually reads "hi," and the body begins, "How are you? When I saw this screen saver...." Despite the relatively low sophistication of this virus, infected messages are proliferating throughout the Internet at a ridiculous rate.
