Critical IE Patch - Even for XP
Microsoft has released an out of cycle patch to fix a major security flaw in their Internet Explorer web browser. The bug affected all versions of IE from 6 up to the most recent version (11). The patch is being made available for XP users as well, even though Microsoft officially ended XP support last month.
Patch your IE if you haven't already done so. If you have automatic updates enabled on your computer, you don't need to take any action. Otherwise, you need to apply this update urgently. To check for available Windows Updates (including this IE patch) click on the Start button, click on All Programs, and then click on Windows Update.
