"The C4 Support Team" Says Don't Open That Attachment

You may have received an apparently virus infected e-mail message porporting to be from "The C4 Support Team". The message contains an attachment as well as instructions for opening it. Needless to say, the message is not from us. It appears to be a variant of the Mytob virus. We're investigating to see if in fact the message is infected with a virus and, if so, how it made it past our server side filters. In the meantime, don't open that attachment. Just hit delete.

Here is an example of the message:

Subject: Your Account is Suspended For Security Reasons

Dear C4 Member,

Your e-mail account was used to send a huge amount of unsolicited spam messages during the recent week. If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and confirm the attached document so you will not run into any future problems with the online service.

If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choice but to cancel your membership.
