100 Years Since the First Trans-Atlantic Broadcast

One hundred years ago, the first message, a series of Morse Code clicks, was broadcast from England and received at the end of a kite in Newfoundland. To celebrate the first Trans-Atlantic broadcast, amateur radio operators will fly similar kites from Coast Guard Beach in Eastham, Massachusetts. The BBC is also carrying the story.
