One industry group predicts that Internet traffic will double annually over the next five years. They are talking volume of end user traffic. This will no doubt be spurred by the growing broadband market. The world still waits for the broadband killer app, the one which will make a broadband connection essential. If spam continues to climb at the rates we're seeing now, we may all need broadband connections just to check our e-mail.
