It appears that we weren't the only ones complaining to the FTC about Verisign's deceptive marketing practices. Our customers started receiving "renewal" notices from Verisign and Verisign partners such as Interland. Customers believing the notice to be a genuine bill found their domain name hijacked and pointing to non-existant web sites. The FTC is allegedly making inquiries into the matter. Related Articles: |
